Through Chris Ferris I got to know about the WS-Addressing Submission to W3C. I really wonder where this is going to be taken, especially with regard to the Web Architecture. So far, SOAP 1.2 can play well with the Web, WSDL 2 is on its way to be able to describe web resources well enough (hopefully), but I don't really see strong use of Addressing in Web-friendly applications at the moment. It's surely going to be interesting.
